This policy explains how M.Ahari Consultancy Limited uses personal information relating to MAQS Pro enquiries, orders, licences and support.

1. Information we receive

We may receive your name, business name, email address, product purchased, order reference, licence and activation information, correspondence, support details, and limited transaction information supplied by Paddle. We do not collect or store full payment-card details through this website.

2. How we use information

• To answer enquiries and provide requested information;
• to fulfil orders, issue licences and provide installation details;
• to provide technical support and manage licence security;
• to keep accounting, transaction and compliance records;
• to prevent fraud, misuse or unauthorised licence sharing; and
• to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

3. Legal bases

We process information where necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as customer support, software security, record keeping and protecting the business. Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Paddle and other recipients

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and separately handles checkout, payments, fraud prevention, tax and customer invoices under its own privacy information. We may also use professional advisers, secure email or hosting providers, and public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

6. Retention

Enquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary. Order, licence, support and accounting records may be retained for the life of the licence and for applicable legal, tax, security and limitation periods afterward. Information is deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
